Awarded the Kyivska Pectoral prize for Best Directorial Work, this performance - directed by Dmytro Bogomazov - is a biography of the Ukrainian village. The director turned nine psychological novels by Vasil Stefanik into a story based on simple tales about the search for work, the expectation of death, landlords’ abuse over villagers and condemnation to hard labour.
