Michael Joseph McQuilken originally hails from Portland, Oregon. Around the age of twenty, McQuilken became a professional street performer for three years, creating music with garbage. Later on, he obtained a scholarship-fueled higher education and received a degree in Directing and Sound Engineering, which propelled him to become a director, writer, filmmaker, and composer, currently residing in Jersey City.
