Ukrainian Small Drama Theater
The Ukrainian Small Drama Theater was founded by actress and theater critic Valentyna Kimberska in April 1989 at the request of the Theater Workers Union of Ukraine. Since its beginnings, works of famous Ukrainian and foreign authors have been staged at the Ukrainian Small Drama Theater, such as Lesya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko, Mario Fratti and Oscar Wilde to name a few. Since 2017, Dmytro Veselskyi - currently the youngest artistic director in Ukraine - has been overseeing and guiding the theaterβs creative vision.
