Opera Lingua
An interdisciplinary opera composed by Roman Grygoriv and Ilya Razumeik and dedicated to the phenomenon of language. Blending modern opera, physical and drama theater, algorithmic music and experimental film, it undertakes an artistic research journey within Ukraine’s National Library, whose unique postmodern architecture is both an ornament and a source of inspiration for opera productions. Through reinterpretation and transformation, this performance seeks the language of the future that emerges as a polyphonic fusion of symbolic systems in the world of modern media.
