Odesa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy named after M. Vodiany
The theater opened in the spring of 1947 in Lviv. In 1953, the renowned ensemble was transferred to Odesa where the company's creative potential was able to develop to its fullest potential. Performances about Odesa and Odessans became the theater's hallmarks. The company performed to sold-out houses in numerous cities across the country also owing to the talented directors. The theater's repertoire includes classical operettas, musicals, rock operas, and performances for children. The Odesa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy named after M.
