The Barbarian Nights
Contemporary ballet born from a mixture of techniques and influences, “Barbarian Nights” evokes millions of years of history infused with humanity, wars, mystery and love, and serves as an artistic reminder of the recurrent rise and fall of civilizations and the fluctuating state of the Mediterranean regions. Choreographed by Hervé Koubi and starring 12 Algerian and Burkinabe dancers, it reconstructs a past world finding itself at the crossroads of unity and division, peace and conflict.
