Theremin
This performance depicts the extraordinary life story of Lev Sergeyevich Theremin, a Russian scientist, musician, as well as a spy. He was the man who invented one of the first electronic musical instruments in the world, who experienced a period of great fame in America, as well as a devastating strike during the 1930's economic crisis. As inventor Robert Moog said, Theremin was the man without whom he would have never been able to create a synthesizer.
